The journey to Richtis Gorge began around 9 o clock in the morning from Agios Nikolaos where i picked up my participants. Three beautiful people around the world. One couple from England and a crazy musician from Australia. The day was cloudy... but later the sun paint the sky in hues of orange as I eagerly set foot on the trail, surrounded by lush vegetation and the melodic sound of chirping birds. Frogs and cicadas .The anticipation of exploring the wonders that awaited fueled my steps along the winding path, each twist unveiling a new vista of awe-inspiring beauty.

Arriving at the breathtaking Richtis Waterfall felt like stumbling upon a secret oasis tucked away from the world. The cascading waters glistened in the sunlight, creating a mesmerizing display of nature's grandeur. Standing in the cool spray of the waterfall, I was overcome with a sense of serenity and reverence for the raw power of Mother Nature. The picnic i prepared for my guests make them so happy. Cretan cheese and ham...olives.. dry carob breads.. and grapes. Eleftheria made for them an amazing tea with Cretan herbs also. We laugh so much.. beautiful moments next to the waterfall.
